How to Tell the TIME & Parts of the Day in English | Video

9 thoughts on “Different Times of the Day | Parts of the Day in English”

  1. there’s a mistake when it explains “Evening”. It says it starts from 5:00 pm to 10:00 “am”, should be 10:00 pm.

  2. How do I get from night to day.

    1. Early Evening: From about 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
    2. Evening: From 7:00 pm to I:00 am
    3. Late Evening: From about I0:00 pm to I:00 am
    4. Early Overnight: From about 7 hours before sunrise to I:00 am
    5. Overnight: From Midnight to Sunrise
    6. Late Overnight: From about 5:00 am to 8:00 am
    7. Early Morning: from about 2 Hours before sunrise to 7:00 am
    8. Morning: From Sunrise to Noon
    9. Late Morning: From I0:00 am to I2:00 pm
    1. early morning: from about 2 hours before sunrise to 7:00 am
    2. morning: from sunrise to noon
    3. late morning: from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
  3. LOL. I don’t agree with everything mentioned in the 3 pictures. In English …

    – A week day is 24 hours (from 12am to 12am)
    – Day Time is 12 hours (from 6am to 6pm)
    – Night Time is 12 hours (from 6pm to 6am)
    – Morning is 6 hours (not 12) (from 6am to 12pm)
    – Early morning is 2 hours (from 6am to 8am)
    – Late morning is 2 hours (from 10am to 12pm)
    – Afternoon is 6 hours (from 12pm to 6pm)
    – Early afternoon is 2 hours (from 12pm to 2pm)
    – Late afternoon is 2 hours (from 4pm to 6pm)
    – Evening is 6 hours (from 6pm to 12am)
    – Early evening is 2 hours (from 6pm to 8pm)
    – Late evening is 2 hours (from 10pm to 12am)
    – Overnight is 6 hours (from 12am to 6am)
    – Early overnight is 2 hours (from 12am to 2am)
    – Late overnight is 2 hours (from 4am to 6am)

Obviously a 24-hour day should be divided evenly for …
Day time, Night time, Morning, Afternoon, Evening …

(should be a different word for 12am to 6am rather than morning) …

    Early/Late Morning, Early/Late Afternoon and Early/Late Evening.

If I say ‘tonight’, that would obviously refer to ‘this evening’ hours (any time during 6pm to 12am)!

    1. Early midnight from 6 hours before sunrise to 1:00 am
    2. Midnight from 1:00 am to 5:00 am
    3. Late midnight from 5:00 am to 8:00 am
  4. 1. Morning: It’s from the sunset to 12:00 pm
    2. Evening: starts from 5:00 pm to 10:00 am.
Let me invite your attention to the above clerical error in your tutorial.
    Regards
    .
